Bath Afternoon Decorative and Fine Arts Society 35th Anniversary Lunch

On 1st June 2016 members of Bath Afternoon DFAS gathered for lunch and entertainment to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the founding of the society.

Post lunch entertainment was provided by NADFAS lecturer and Magic Circle member Ian Keable who interspersed his talk on 'Charles Dickens Conjurer' with some of the magic tricks Dickens performed at family soirees on the Isle of Wight. A lot of fun was had by all.

Pictured with current Chairman, Lynden Lever [on the right of the photo] are some of Bath Afternoon DFAS former committee members, including founding committee member Jennifer Beazley, and Anne Hill (third from right) who became the conjurer’s assistant in the disappearing ring trick. To everyone's relief the ring reappeared and everyone went away happy after a very enjoyable and sociable occasion
